I’ve had a membership to a well-known
health club for years, but I hardly went to exercise. What I needed
was someone to hold me accountable to an exercise regiment and push
me to my potential. What I got are trainers who are focused on my
personal goal, which is to lose weight, be healthier, and feel good
about myself. I have now been working out at Fitness Together for
6 months and I have lost 35 pounds, 9% body fat, and 6 inches in
the waist. I feel better, look better and most importantly have
better health! Thanks to one-on-one training and the “fun”
factor, I am now and forever committed to my weekly workouts. My
40th birthday is just around the corner and I am so excited to show
off the new me to my family and friends.

Growing up, I was never overweight.
I took my high metabolism for granted and once I reached my twenties,
the weight steadily piled on. Before I knew it I was a size 16 and
weighed 202 lbs. Once outgoing, I became shy and withdrawn. I was
fat, unattractive and hid behind my long hair and baggy clothes.
I avoided things I once loved such as the sun, water, dancing and
relationships. I needed to make a change or watch my health and
happiness slowly disappear. That’s when I met Scott Meister.
He helped me develop a new lifestyle of fitness and good nutrition.
I saw motivating results in no time! Since I began my journey, I
have lost 45 lbs. and I wear a size 8. I can dance all night, look
forward to buying a new swimsuit and have the self- esteem to conquer
anything! People say I’m a totally different person inside
and out. In a way they are right… but the way I see it, I
simply found the real me that was hiding for so long.

I lost 100 pounds. In January of 2000
my cholesterol was 250 and my blood pressure was over the top. I
weighed in at 286 pounds with a 52 inch waist. My doctor called
me morbidly obese. I had never before considered myself to be an
“unhealthy” person. I was scared and began to exercise.
After four months I went back to the doctor and got heartbreaking
news. My four months of huge effort had been wasted. There was no
change. I was now desperate so my doctor suggested professional
help. I began working out under the direction of Scott Meister.
Within weeks I could see genuine results. Today my cholesterol is
at 156 and my blood pressure is well in the normal range and I now
weigh 185 pounds. My doctor now calls me the poster child of fitness.
I am now healthier and better looking. I have traded the size 52
waste for a size 38. It is true that I did the work but my success
is due to the professional guidance of Scott Meister.

| July 2004, two months after I had my
son, still carrying 80 of the 100 lbs gained during my pregnancy,
I bought a gym membership like most new mothers do. I used it once
in 4 months!! I had limited exercise knowledge and no accountability.
There was never enough time to exercise between working and caring
for my new baby. It wasn’t until after my first appointment
with Scott that I truly understood the commitment it would take
to improve my health and well-being. I know I wouldn’t have
achieved my goals with out the guidance and coaching of Scott. Its
been over a year and I clearly remember how depressed I was weighing
over 200 lbs and starting from scratch. I stuck to it – I
have reached my goal weight, now half the woman I used to be….AND
LOVING IT!!!
